Sevastopol authorities are expecting the growth of tourist flow by 20% till the end of the year

“About 320 thousand tourists visited Sevastopol since the beginning of 2016”, - said the city Governor Dmitry Ovsyannikov. "According to the figures of September 1 2016, we have about 320 thousand tourists. This is a level for Sevastopol for the entire 2015. And so, following the results of 2016, we expect 20% of growth", - said D.Ovsyannikov at a press conference on Thursday. He noted that since the beginning of the year Sevastopol museums were visited by more than 1 million people. "It primarily concerns to the Chersonesos Taurica reserve and the Museum of heroic defense of Sevastopol. So, we are talking about the fact that interest to the history of the city is very big", - said D.Ovsyannikov. In addition, he noted that tourists in Sevastopol wait for a large number of event ceremonies and actively concern with the events related to wine-making and sailing.
