Sales of Coral Travel in Abu Dhabi increased by 120% thanks to charters

For January - October 2018 the number of tourists from Russia to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi (UAE) amounted to 41 thousand people, which is 37% more than during the same period last year. In the Emirate, this is mainly connected with the direct charter programs of Coral Travel tour operator from Moscow to Abu Dhabi. According to the Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi, the increase in tourist flow from Russia this year is largely connected with the active position of the Emirate in working with both B2C and B2B segments. Coral Travel, having launched an exclusive charter program in Abu Dhabi on the Russian market, increased its sales in the fourth quarter of this year by 120% compared to the same period last year, according to the Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi. Due to the availability of direct charter flights to Abu Dhabi, the Emirate forecasts a positive trend and in general, by the results of 2018 expecting to host at least 52 thousand tourists from Russia, which will exceed the last year’s figures by 25%. Recall that Coral Travel tour operator is currently the only player offering direct charter flights to Abu Dhabi. “Our flight program to Abu Dhabi on the wings of Ural Airlines (Airbus-321) was launched on 21.10.2018 and the flights are scheduled till 13.03.2019”, said Marina Makarkova, the Head of Public Relations of Coral Travel. The tour operator offers 60 hotels for Russian tourists in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, half of them belong to the 5* category and offer a high level of service. Earlier, the company noted an increased demand for this resort in the Emirates due to the wide range of accommodation facilities. At the end of January the Coral Travel tours to Abu Dhabi for 7 nights in 3* hotels on BB start from 45,819 Rubles ($ 660) for two persons, in 5* hotels - from 53,828 Rubles ($ 775).
