Russia became the most popular European country for Chinese tourists during the "Golden Week"
“Russia is the third best of the number of trips of Chinese tourists during the "Golden Week" (the national holiday of China) from 1 to 7 October 2016”, - Xinhua news agency reported. The most popular destinations of travels of the "Golden Week" were the Republic of Korea, Japan, Russia, Thailand, Australia, Vietnam, Malaysia, France and Singapore. In the first week of October 2016 our country was visited by 103% more tourists from China than last year. Only in the framework of the visa-free group tourist exchange program Moscow and St. Petersburg were visited by nearly 9 thousand tourists from China.
The opportunity to travel to Russia within the visa-free exchange program has a positive impact on the growth of tourist flow from China.
