Russia became the most popular destination for Chinese for the autumn holidays
“Russia has become the country with the largest influx of Chinese tourists during the "Golden week", - according to the data of the State Administration of Tourism of China.
The number of tourists who made tourist trips abroad during holidays exceeded 6 million people, including 641,900 people in tourist groups. Chinese tourists visited 1155 cities in 88 countries and regions of the world, the most popular of which were Russia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia.
The most attractive cities for Chinese travelers in Russia were Moscow, St. Petersburg, Murmansk, Irkutsk and Vladivostok.
As reported, in 2016 the exchange of tourists between PRC and Russian Federation reached 3.27 million people. In the first half of 2017, 552,000 Chinese tourists visited Russia, which is 21% higher than in the same period of the last year.
