Qatar added Russia to the "red" list of countries
The Qatari authorities have added Russia to the "red" list of countries, tightening the requirements for Russian tourists from November 15.
Now, to enter Qatar and move freely around the country, vaccinated Russians are required to present:
- certificate of the full course of vaccination;
- the results of PCR test done 72 hours before entering Qatar;
- results of a negative PCR test made upon arrival.
Waiting the results of the second PCR test, Russian tourists have to stay at one of the specially booked hotels for a two-day quarantine, as for ATOR’s report.
Unvaccinated travelers will be quarantined during 7 days upon arrival in Qatar. They will need to make a PCR test on the sixth day of isolation, and if the test result for COVID-19 is negative, quarantine can be completed.
