Russian tourists can visit Qatar
From October 6, the Ministry of Health of Qatar allowed tourists vaccinated with the Russian vaccine Sputnik V to enter the country. Nowadays, air traffic between Russia and Qatar has been resumed. There are direct regular flights to Doha.
To enter Qatar, Russians need a Sputnik V vaccination certificate (other Russian vaccines are not recognized), valid for no more than 1 year from the date of receiving the second dose, with QR code, first and last name, the date of vaccination and the name of the vaccine. All documents must be in English.
In addition to the certificate, a negative PCR test is required, made no more than 72 hours before the time of arrival in Qatar. The test must be done in a medical institution accredited by the Russian authorities.
Tourists also need to have a positive antibody test made at least 30 days before traveling to Qatar, and after 14 days from the day of vaccination with the second dose.
Important: those tourists who are fully vaccinated with Sputnik V (2 doses) plus at least one dose of Pfizer or Moderna are exempted from the antibody test. At least 14 days must elapse after the last vaccination.
Upon arrival at Doha airport, tourists have to install and activate the EHTERAZ application in smart phone for each adult (children are added to one of the parents).
