Putin signed a law on the introduction of a simplified procedure for the entry through the port of Vladivostok for foreigners
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on a special simplified mode to issue electronic visas to foreign citizens for entering Russia through the free port of Vladivostok.
According to the law, the foreigners will be able to come to any of the five Far Eastern regions, where the free port regime is acting - Primorsky and Khabarovsk Regions, Sakhalin Region, Chukotka and Kamchatka.
In order to obtain a visa, foreign citizens will need to use the special website of the Russian Foreign Ministry and fill out a questionnaire. With a positive response, the visa will be issue directly on the Russian border. The period for consideration of the application is 4 days.
The visa will be valid for 30 days from the moment of its registration with the permitted duration of staying in Russia up to 8 days. The visa will be issued without a consular fee - it will be free of charge.
