Popular tourist destinations for Russians in spring
Travel planning service OneTwoTrip determined which foreign destinations tourists traveled to most often this spring.
The largest increase among the top 50 popular destinations in comparison with the winter period was recorded for flights to Vietnam - more than 20 times. Next are India, where tourists began to fly almost 4 times more often, and Israel, where the share of bookings increased by 3,8 times.
Montenegro became more popular by 140%. Kazakhstan is also in the top, tourists flew there 135% more often. In addition, demand for air tickets increased to Tajikistan (+100%), Serbia (+98%), the Maldives (+72%), Thailand (+68%), Georgia (+65%) and Belarus (+ 40%).
As for the average price of a one-way flight to these countries, the most expensive for tourists were tickets to Vietnam (1 031 Euros), the Maldives (1 000 Euros) and Thailand (819 Euros). The flights to Montenegro (766 Euros), Serbia (693 Euros), Israel (678 Euros), India (594 Euros), Georgia (535 Euros) and Kazakhstan (358 Euros) were more profitable.
The flights to Tajikistan (136 Euros) and Belarus (121 Euros) became the most budgetary among the most popular destinations.
