It is named the number of Russians who plan to relax this summer abroad

For the majority of Russian tourists, vacations abroad remain as a dream - only 8% tourists will go abroad of the 47% who have planned vacation in the summer.

Such statistics were presented by a survey conducted by Otkritie Bank and the insurance company Rosgosstrakh. About 1 000 potential tourists from cities with a population of more than 100 000 people took part in the survey.

The survey showed the following. In general, on average, 47% of survey participants plan vacation in the summer. Of these, only 8% of tourists plan to relax abroad in countries accessible to Russians - primarily in Turkey and Egypt.

It is interesting that Russians' vacation plans, on average, have not changed in connection with recent events - 40% said that they plan holidays at the same resorts and by the same way as they had planned holidays before February and the start of the special operation in Ukraine.

In general, 47% of all respondents have firm intention to go on vacation. And in Moscow their number is higher - 56%, and in the Far East - less, only 34%. About a third of Russians, or 27%, is still not sure about their plans for the summer. Another 26% do not plan to go on vacation in the summer.
