Most of passengers of crashed Fly Dubai flight were tourists
«Most of passengers of flight FZ981 crashed on Saturday in Rostov-on-Don, were tourists, according to the information of Russian Union of Travel Industry. Natalie Tours had the biggest amount of seats on this flight.
"The aircraft is designed for 180 seats, it was downloaded for less than a third,..» Irina Tyurina, the press secretary of the Russian Union of Travel Industry said. There were 29 tourists of tour operator Natalie Tours (one female tourists decided to prolong her stay in Dubai and did not fly) and 3 tourists (one tourist lost his passport and could not fly, but his wife died) of tour operator Art-Tour.
Other passengers could purchase tickets themselves, since the flight had a status of regular flight.
"Flights are considered regular, there were available tickets for sales. Fly Dubai air company has a good reputation, new planes, so its flights are on demand on the Russian market demand," Irina Tyurina said.
