In 2020 prices for holidays in Turkey for Russians will remain at the level of this year
The cost of tours to Turkey for Russian tourists in 2020 will remain at the level of 2019, according to Erjument Yunalan, the commercial director of the tour operator Coral Travel.
"Currently there are no prerequisites for price increases," he said at a press conference. Mr. E. Yunalan also noted that at the stage of early booking campaign tourists will be able to save up to 50%, especially buying tours for July and August, when Turkey has a high season.
Yunalan added that the hotel base in Turkey is constantly expanding, investment in the tourism industry is stable, so a record increase in tourist flow will not lead to higher prices.
He said earlier, that Turkey expected to host a record 6,5 million tourists by the end of 2019, of which 5,5 million will have holiday in the province of Antalya.
The commercial director of the tour operator also underlined that in recent years there has been a tendency of increasing the popularity of holidays in Turkey in May, June, September and October, which connects with higher hotel prices in July and August.
According to Besiki Kvirkviya, the Director General of Royal Flight, the redistribution of the tourist flow for other months makes it possible for carriers to use their fleet more effective, which in turn leads to the reduction of charter prices.
