Guard mounting of the Presidential Regiment in the Kremlin will be canceled on Saturday.

The guard mounting ceremony of dismounted and cavalry sentry of the Presidential Regiment will be canceled on Saturday. The ceremony will be suspended in conjunction with the participation of the Presidential Regiment units in the International Military Music Festival "Spasskaya Basnya". The guard mounting ceremony of the Presidential Regiment takes place in the warm season time at the Cathedral Square in the Moscow Kremlin. It is considered as one of the most colorful and spectacular military ceremonies which is embodied in the Military Regulations since the time of Peter of Great. It was revived and put into practice in spring 2005.
