Governmental Commission has approved a bill of simplified visa regime in Vladivostok
“Government Commission on legislative activities has approved a bill of simplified visa procedure in the Free Port of Vladivostok (FPV)”, - said the press service of Ministry of Far East Development on Tuesday.
According to the draft of the federal law, foreign citizens arriving in Free Port, get the opportunity to receive a single eight days entry visas by a simplified scheme (in the form of an electronic document).
The bill provides the procedural formalities of single business, travel and humanitarian visas in the form of an electronic document.
The visa is valid for 30 days from its registration with eight days authorized period of stay in Russia.
To receive such visa foreign citizen has fill on an application in electronic form on the Russian Foreign Ministry’s website with electronic copies of passport pages not less than four days before the planned date of entry.
"The adoption of a simplified visa regime will positively affect on the number of visitors from all regions of the Far East, where the Free Port Regime operates. These are Primorye, Khabarovsk, Sakhalin region, Chukotka and Kamchatka", - said the deputy minister.
