Everything is calm with flights to Turkey and Egypt from Russia
While European countries are rapidly closing for Russian tourists, flights to the most massive destinations - to Egypt and Turkey - continue to be operated (with the exception of temporarily closed airports in the South of Russia). There are no prerequisites for closing these countries for Russians now.
Flights to Turkey and Egypt are operated by Russian airlines mainly on schedule (albeit with extended flight times due to the temporary closure of the zone in the South of Russia for flights). Planes fly over this territory through Kazakhstan.
Despite the increased flight time, all airline flights, including charter flights of tour operators, fly to Turkey and Egypt on schedule. There are no reasons for these countries to close their airspace for Russian aircraft, experts say. Flights to Turkey and Egypt are temporarily closed from a number of cities in the South of the Russian Federation. After the opening this territory the flights will be resumed.
