Demand for Schengen visas begins to grow

Since November, there are more and more people wishing to get Schengen in visa centers for winter season. According to the estimates of Vladimir Larionov, director general of the Larkos visa company, the demand will grow by 20%. “Most often Russians apply for a visa for visiting France, Spain and the Czech Republic,” he says. 
VFS Global also called the period from November to December as a peak period. “We try to adapt to these difficulties and make the necessary adjustments in the workflow - we increase the number of employees and extend the opening hours of visa centers,” says Jiten Wijas, the head of the group of regions of VFS Global. 
The rating of popular destinations for winter holidays among Russians also includes such European destinations as Spain, Austria, Italy and Andorra. 
The list of the most affordable skiing destinations includes Bulgaria, Austria and Andorra. So the cost of tours to the ski resorts of Bulgaria for the coming New Year dates with air flight and accommodation at a 4* hotel starts from 28 000 Rubles (398 Euros), Austria - from 34 200 Rubles (486 Euros), Andorra - from 36 000 Rubles (511 Euros).
