Here is a comment by Oksana Lyulintseva, the general director of the company, in full: "Dear Clients! Due to unfavorable market conditions, the DANKO tour operator stops its activity starting from the 07-th of September 2018. All sales from this day will be terminated. Tours starting from the 8-th of September 2018, will be canceled. The difficult market situation forced us to take this step. The decision to stop tour operating was extremely difficult. Our company has existed for many years and during this time has established itself as a reliable partner and a conscientious participant in the tourism market. Our team are professionals, each of us was ill for the common cause, completely immersed in the work process." The civil liability of LLC Danko Travel Company is insured in ERV company for 50 million rubles. According to information of the tour operator, it is enough to compensate the cost of the not fulfilled services. "Now we are preparing documents for all issued vouchers to the insurance company," Lyulintseva added. Experts believe that financially DANKO was knocked down because of low demand in the summer of 2017. Then Oksana Lyulintseva ordered flights from airlines Red Wings, Yamal and Yakutia. After a disastrous season, the tour operator "moved" to blocks and significantly reduced the volumes relative to previous periods. The same tactics - minimizing risks - continued in the current summer. According to competitors' estimates, DANKO has many small blocks from larger tour operators and from consolidators. And yet, even in these conditions, has problems with downloading the ordered seats. At the moment, the partners of Danko deal with financial issues - check the receipt of payments for the nearest dates of flights of tourists. ERV insurance company does not comment the situation and discusses the situation with the tour operator. According to the statistics of Russian Tourism Ministry, in 2017 tour operator DANKO served 15 353 tourists. The company was founded in 1997.
