Almost 2 million Russians visited the UAE in 2024

Almost 2 million Russian tourists visited the United Arab Emirates in 2024, in turn, more than 67 thousand tourists from the UAE visited Russia. This is stated in the message of the secretariat of the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov following a meeting with the President of the UAE Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The expansion of direct air traffic contributes to the growth of tourism, emphasized in the secretariat. Thus, today there are over 300 regular passenger flights per week between the cities of Russia and the UAE, which is 1.5 times more than six months ago. 

The UAE President and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation also discussed cooperation in the sports field, including holding the second international multi-sport tournament "Games of the Future" in the Emirates in 2025. Manturov noted the will to share experience and provide maximum assistance in organizing the games.
