700 thousand Russians visited Thailand for 6 months

“During the first six months of 2019, the number of tourists from Russia to Thailand increased by 2% - up to 700 thousand tourists,” reported Fabio Chinda, the Charge d'Affaires of Thailand in the Russian Federation. 

“Tourist flow from Russia increased by 2% for the first six months. Last year, Thailand was visited by 1.4–1.5 million tourists from Russia. By the end of this year, we expect this figure to increase. During the first half of the year, the number of Russians visiting Thailand was 700 thousand. The flights between our countries are carried out five times a day, so we hope that the Russians will come to Thailand more often,” he added. 

We should remind, earlier Thailand declared an epidemic of Dengue fever. Tourists were advised to observe the precautions.
