The flight programs to Hainan from Russia continue to change. RusTour operator announced cancellation of the chain from Moscow to Sanya from October 6, 2018 and widening of the regional program. As stated in the message of RusTour operator, "the reduction of the flight program is connected with an increase of the cost of air transportation on this direction". For the all previously booked tours with the date of departure from September 29, 2018, Rus Tour promises a refund or offers an alternative option with flights from the following cities: Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk, Ulan-Ude and Vladivostok. Moreover the company plans to expand the regional program to 5 more cities from October 29: Kazan, Ufa, Surgut, Tyumen and Yakutsk will be added to the list of departure points in this winter season. In the future, RusTour does not exclude the possibility of returning of Moscow-Sanya-Moscow route to its flight program. However, the company has not yet responded about the dates of returning. With the cancellation of the flight program Moscow to Hainan from RusTour operator, there are now charter chains of two tour operators: ANEX Tour (to Sanya) and Pearl River (to Haikou). ANEX Tour operator reports - "In the winter season the program from Moscow to Sanya on charter flights will remain unchanged, 2 times a week by the wings of AZUR Air airline". Pearl River operator launches charter flights twice a week from Zhukovsky to Haikou since October by the boards of Ikar airlines. According to experts, the widening of the program of this tour operator was one of the reasons of cancelation of RusTour’s charter flights from Moscow. According to the market players, at present time the demand for Hainan corresponds to the season: for the autumn period tourists, especially from the central regions, are booking tours mostly to the beaches of Mediterranean region.
