Uvda airport in Israel hosted 2.5 times more Russians for the three months than the year before
“The tourist flow from Russia to Uvda airport in Israel has increased by 150% since October 2016 till January 7, 2017 and continues to increase”, - reported the press service of the Ministry of Tourism of Israel.
"In the period from October 2, 2016 till January 7, 2017 87 flights were carried out with an average loading of 82%. In total, 15.1 thousand visitors from Russia came to Uvda airport. It is about 150% more than for the same period of the last year. During the last year, 42 flights were performed to Uvda with average load of 66% and 5 927 tourists from Russia were transported", - added in the Ministry.
According to the press service, the growth of passenger flow is largely the result of incentive program of the Ministry of Tourism of Israel launched in October 2016 for companies performed the flights to Uvda airport.
