Russian Travel Digest became a media partner of Unique Promotion Fair, a serie of b2b workshops in Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg), Ukraine (Kiev), and Kazakhstan (Almaty). Offline workshops still remain one of the most effective marketing tools to establish new contacts and strengthen old ties, to share the latest news with travel agents. Each workshop brings together about 20-25 exhibitors and 150 — 300 buyers. Unique Promotion Fair is organized since 2018, in two editions — autumn and spring. Among the permanent participants are Majestic Resort (hotel chain in Dominican Republic and Mexico), JA Resort (Hotels in UAE, Maldives and Seychelles), Grand Hotel Palace Roma (Italy), Hotel Condesa (Spain), Desert Adventures (UAE), Mexico Travel Experts (Mexico), Experience Cuba (Cuba), Concierge Plus (France), and many others.
The buyers are personally chosen by managers of the fair. In order to become a visitor, agency should provide credentials that it has experience in luxury travel and VIP clients in its portfolio. Not all the requests of agents are fulfilled. Mostly these are agents who work with FIT. Tour operator companies and concierge services also are in the list of potential buyers. The list of contacts is sent after the event.
Event is organised in free-flow basis, without pre-arranged meetings. Each company has a table for 2 representatives. Coffee-breaks, and gala-dinner are included in the participation fee. The program starts from 11:00 with coffee-break and possibility to talk in informal manner, then from 12:00 till 14:30 is time for speed meetings, followed by one more coffee-break and second part of speed-meetings from 15:30 till 19:00. Event continues with gala-dinner till 22:00. So, exhibitors get almost 11 hours of constant communication with tour operators and travel agents.
