Tourists of tour operator Travelsystem will be paid starting from July 9

From July 9, insurance company Soglasie starts paying tourists of tour operator Travelsystem. Financial guarantee of tour operator will be enough for 80% of the required payment, the press secretary of the Russian Union of Travel Industry Irina Turina commented to Interfax. The company Soglasie insured financial responsibility of tour operator Travelsystem (legal entity LLC NeoLayn Tour).

"It is not yet a final decision on the format of compensation, whether it will be paid in proportion to all the victims, or upon receipt of applications," Irina Tyurina said with reference to the Director of Insurance Department in Tourism Industry of the company Soglasie Mikhail Chelpanov.

The insurance company gets a registry with 426 booked tours from tour operator to pay compensation to 800 clients. As a result, the total amount of compensation is now about 36 million rubles, while the size of the financial guarantees of tour operator Travelsystem is 30 million rubles.

Tour operator Travelsystem has not yet announced the suspension of activities. Information on their website is published that the company's office in Moscow is closed.

Travelsystem company worked since 1997, specializing in sightseeing tours in Europe. They cooperated with such destinations as the Czech Republic, France, Italy, Austria, Spain, Israel, Hungary, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Portugal, and Scandinavia. In June 2015, the tour operator has notified the insurance company Soglasie that it can not meet its obligations to tourists. At that moment, there were about 100 tourists ofTravelsystem abroad.
