Tour operators note the growth of sales of New Year holidays tours

“Sales of New Year's holidays are growing against the same period of the last year”, - the press service of the Russian Union of Travel Industry (RCT) reported. "This autumn, the operators noticed the absence of negative dynamics and even the growth of New Year sales. And especially, the demand for holidays’ dates is more than for beginning of January"- reported in the Union, recalling that the drop in this segment was 20-30% in October of the last year against the same month in 2014. According to the RCT data, among the countries, the tourists are most actively interested in New Year holiday, are Andorra, Austria, Bulgaria, United Arab Emirates, Spain (Tenerife), Dominican Republic, Thailand, Cuba, India. Among the excursion destination the Russian tourists often ask tours to Czech Republic, Hungary and Estonia. Russians choose inexpensive 3- or 4- stars hotels. With reference to the tour operators data, RCT noted, that the Russians are trying to reduce vacation costs, for example, by lowering of accommodation level.
