Pegas Touristik launches a temporary action: +3% for a number of hotels. But Coral Travel decided to give everyone 9%. As it is noted by market participants, the average growth is 1-2%. The network RossTour believes that it is connected with the fact that tour operators finally heard the requirements of retail. "The offers of those operators who launched high fees are better sold. Agents are actively involved in new offers and this has already given an increase of about 15% of sales. I think that if sales increase by 30%, tour operators will think about making such commissions permanent", - said the Director of network development Maria Slugina. In her opinion, the minimum commission rate should be 10%. The majority of the agencies are confident that tour operators are forced to increase fees, as sales as a whole fell sharply due to poor demand. One of the reasons is World Cup 2018, as well as the appearance of negative information background after the collapse of a number of tourist companies. However, the special offers are provided by not all tour operators. "The growth of the commission has only ANEX Tour, in addition - they refused from promo actions. Coral Travel sales the most tours by special offers, where the commission is 6-7%. And the average rate of 9% not satisfied authorized agencies, which previously received up to 13%", - said Olga Vikhareva, the Director of the “Last Minute” network. According to the expert, only few agencies are attracted by the bonus of Pegas Touristik. It is offered after the tourist has already departed.
