Tour operators explained the high demand for Greece
At the traditional February meeting of the participants of the Combined Network of TBG and Hot Tours, Director General of Mouzenidis Travel Alexander Tsandekidi said that the demand for tours to Greece on early booking stage is 25% higher than last year. According to him, Crete and Halkidiki are the leaders.
Tez Tour also noted good early booking results in Greece - demand has already exceeded the figures of the same period last year, and the company plans to increase volumes in the destination by an average 20-30%. Positive dynamics is connected with the expansion of the tour operator’s flight program for the summer season of 2020. Thus, Yakutia charters are added to the daily flights of Aegean Airlines and S7 from Moscow to Rhodes. An important novelty of the season will be the flight program to Crete from Kazan on Aegean Airlines with a frequency of once every 10 days.
Biblio-Globus noted a 15% increase in the demand for the destination in the coming season, and the depth of bookings reaches September. At the same time, the tour operator’s flight program to Greece remains the same: the flights to Crete and Rhodes will begin on May 1, to Kos - from May 2, and to Corfu - from May 23.
At Tui Russia, the volume of booked tours to Greece during early booking stage has increased 10 times compared to the same period last year. In the summer season - 2020, the number of the company's own charters will be increased: to Corfu from Moscow (2 times a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays) and St. Petersburg (once a week on Saturdays), from Moscow to Crete (6 times a week), from Kazan to Heraklion (once every 10 days). More tours will be offered on the basis of regular flights to Halkidiki, Rhodes and Crete.
