Tour operator Gold Line announced the suspension of operations

Tour operator Gold Line announced the suspension of operations, according to the press service of the Federal Tourism Agency. The company's website says that the suspension of operations is related to damages that the tour operator has suffered due to lower demand for tours. According to information of TourDom, there is no one tourist of Gold Line abroad, and only 2-3 are in the tours in Russia. The representatives of Gold Line insured the journalists of TourDom that they do their best to fullfil their obligations.

The tour operator was registered in the Federal Registry under the number 009750. The liability of tour operator in outbound tourism has been insured by the insurance company Garant Universe for 30 million rubles, and in the inbound tourism - by the insurance company Loyd City (in mid-June, its license has been revoked) for 500 thousand rubles.

The representatives of Gold Line also noted in the interview to TourDom that they are waiting for additional financial investments which will allow them to continue working. Most of experts of the market noted although that Gold Line worked mostly as travel agent and not as the tour operator.

According to the website of the tour operator, the Gold Line company has worked on the market since 1998 and specialized in tours to Crimea, Krasnodar region, Belarus, the Caucasian Mineral Waters. Among international destinations, the following are listed: Czech Republic, Italy, Finland, Egypt, and Turkey.
