Tour operator for Sri Lanka and India Connaissance Tour stopped working
Tour operator Connaissance Tour, who worked on the Russian market since 1994 and specialized on tours to Sri Lanka and India, stopped working, according to the official website of the company.
"Our company suspends operations in Moscow, for reservations agents can contact the Russian department of our incoming company Connaissance de Ceylan, Colombo, Sri Lanka", the tour operator stated.
The company cooperated with all major networks of travel agencies. The number of injured tourists is not yet known.
The tour operator was registered in the Federal Register under the number 004011. However, on March 16, 2015 the head of the Federal Tourism Agency Oleg Safonov has excluded the company from the federal list of tour operators among other 350 tour companies who were not able to extend financial guarantee.
The company has worked on the Russian market since 1994, specializing on tours of to Lanka. The company also sent tourists to India, South Korea, Singapore, the Seychelles, the Maldives, Mauritius, and Bali.
