Toupomosch has enough fund to evacuate only 15 thousand tourists

At the beginning of May, the list of members of the association of outgoing Russian tour operators Tourpomosch has just 861 company, while last year at this same time, members of the association were more than two thousand travel companies, which is almost 2.5 times higher.

Accordingly, the compensation fund reduced. Now it has in amount about 180 million rubles, of which almost 90 million were on deposit from the previous year.

As CEO of Tourpomosch Vyacheslav Basov says, if someone from tour operators can not fulfill their obligations and the urgent evacuation of tourists will be needed, the fund will be enough to return to Russia of not more than 15 thousand tourists. To calculate that, the average costs were taken from last year, which is $ 200 per person.
