The tourists flow from Russia to Israel increased by 48%since the beginning of the year
“From January to August 2017 Israel was visited by 243,000 Russians, which is 48% more than in the same period of the last year”, - according to the Association of Russian Tour Operators (ATOR) with reference to Israel's Ministry of Tourism. "Russia took the second line in the list of incoming tourist flow to Israel for the eight months of 2017. At the same time, in August the country was visited by 29.1 thousand Russians, which is 67% more than in the same period in 2016", - the report said. The most number of tourists came to Israel from the US, Russia and France. In total, the country was visited by more than 2.4 million tourists from January to August of this year, which is a quarter more than the figures for the same months of 2016.
