The tourist flow to Thailand from Russia has already exceeded half of the last year's number

The Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand published official data concerning the tourist flow from abroad in January-April 2018. According to the department's report, in January-April the Kingdom has hosted 745,398 citizens from Russia, which is more than half of the total tourist flow to Thailand from Russian Federation in 2017 (1.356 million people). According to the official website of Thai tourism department, the tourist flow from Russia to Thailand showed double-digit growth for the first 4 months of 2018. January - 226 754 people - +28.20% for the same month of 2017; February - 195,219 people - + 25.81%; March - 197 023 people - +25.55%; April - 126 402 people - +18.54%; In total for January-April 745 398 tourists arrived to Thailand from Russia (+25.15%). Thus, for the results of four months of 2018 Russia is a key non-Asian market for Thailand.
