The tour operators have announced about high demand for tours to Israel
“The tour operators noted the restoration of demand for tours to Israel, the depth of sales reaches October”, - said the Press Secretary of the Russian Union of Travel Industry Irina Tyurina. "Representatives of the tourist industry note, that the demand is clearly better than at the same time a year ago. Among the factors, that determined the high demand, they called visa-free regime and a wide program of transportation from Moscow, St. Petersburg and other regions of Russia", - added I.Tyurina. According to tour operators, excursion tours and beach rest in different regions of the country are very popular format of holiday among Russians. According to the Central Bureau of Statistics of the country, after the recession the flow of tourists from Russia to Israel increased by 41% in December 2016 against the previous year. The first quarter of 2017 also showed a 35% increase - the country was visited by 74.6 thousand Russians. The Russian tourist flow to Israel in 2016 amounted 266 thousand people.
