The tour operators are waiting for the restoration of demand for Turkey until the end of April
“The demand for Turkey, which fell after Rosaviatsiya warning about a possible ban of charter flights, will restore by the end of April”, - according to the representatives of the tourism industry.
"We hope that in the near future the psychological background, created by the publications of the Rosaviatsia message, will pass and the tourists understand that nothing terrible is happening. Even now we see a slow restoration of demand - if immediately after publication of the news the demand decreased by 40%, at present time the bookings are less by 25-30%”, - the General Director of NTK Intourist tour operator Victor Topopolkaraev told Interfax-Tourism.
He noted that the company is waiting for the restoration of demand for Turkey in the last days of April.
The General Director of TUI Russia tour operator Taras Demura said, that he expects the restoration of the previous volume of bookings of Turkey tours within 10 days. According to him, the number of bookings decreased last week three times, then two times.
"Now we see a 10% increase, I think within 10 days the demand will recover. But this situation hit the market hardly, because now there is a peak of summer season bookings", - the expert said.
