The opening of the entry of Russian tourists to Cyprus is postponed until April 1
The Cypriot authorities have postponed the opening of the country for Russian tourists until April 1, the Russian embassy in Nicosia reported.
"According to the Cypriot Ministry of Transport, the shifting of Russia to the so-called green, orange or red categories of countries has been postponed until April 1. It is also reported that the Cypriot Ministry of Health will review on a weekly basis the categories, which are depended on the epidemiological situation,” the embassy said.
The diplomatic mission noted that until the appropriate decision, from March 1 Russia will belong to the so-called "gray" category. That is, only certain categories of citizens will be allowed to enter Cyprus.
Earlier it was reported that from March 1 Cyprus resumes international tourism for citizens of 56 countries, including Russia.
