The growth of the tourist flow from Russia to Monaco continued in early 2018

“The tourist flow from Russia to Monaco continued to grow in 2018. Since the beginning of the year the increase of the number of Russians amounted 10%”, - said the Deputy Director of the Tourism Authority of Monaco Guy Antonelli. "In 2015-2016 we had a decline of the number of Russian tourists due to the economic crisis. In 2017 the flow began to grow by 10%. In 2018 it continued - since the beginning of the year the tourist flow has also grown by 10%. Russia now is on the fifth position among foreign countries by this indicator", - he added. According to G. Antonelli, 7 million foreign tourists visit Monaco annually. Among them 320 thousand stay at hotels, 200 thousand arrive by cruise liners, 6.5 million are a one-day visitors.
