Russians will celebrate the New Year in Thailand

This winter Thailand can become a major destination for Russian tourists, who will celebrate the New Year abroad. 28% of all NY oversea tours were sold to the resorts of this country. This is an evidenced of statistics based on data of Level.Travel service, which is selling online tours of more than 20 tour operators to 35 countries and with departing from 46 Russian cities. Russian tourists are looking for an alternative to the closed Egypt, id est - the possibility of relatively inexpensive New Year holiday under the palm trees in warm sea. The leaders of the preferences are Thailand and India. But in general, New Year ranking is as follows: Thailand (28%), India (16%), Vietnam (8%), Dominican Republic (6%), Russia (6%), Czech Republic (6%), Sri Lanka ( 6%), Cuba (5%), the United Arab Emirates (5%), Turkey (4%). India was able to significantly improve its position as a New Year direction against the previous year. A year ago, according to Level.Travel service, only 3% of tourists traveled to this country to celebrate the holiday. But in 2015 more number of travelers visited to Thailand than in current year (33%). It is noted, the Russian resorts are on the second place (20%). And as for the rating of winter holidays of Russian tourists with departing from December 2016 - February 2017: Thailand (22%), Russia (21%), India (16%), Turkey (8%), Tunisia (6%), Vietnam (4 %), Dominican Republic (4%), Czech Republic (3%), United Arab Emirates (3%), Sri Lanka (3%).
