Russian tourists are willing to spend 50 thousand Rubles and more during vacation

A quarter of Russian tourists are ready to spend for vacations from 50 to 100 thousand Rubles (688 – 1,376 Euros). At the same time, the number of those who will to save money during holidays has decreased. But tourists up to now have to save money for the long-awaited vacation. Such data was presented by the Momondo service. 

As a result, in Russia the data are as follows: a quarter of Russian tourists - 24% plan to spend from 50 to 100 thousand Rubles per family for summer vacation. At the same time, 20% count on the amount from 20 to 50 thousand Rubles (275 – 688 Euros), and 14% from 7.5 to 20 thousand Rubles (103 – 275 Euros). 

The number of “rich” tourists is significantly less - only 13% can afford a vacation from 100 to 150 thousand Rubles (1,376 – 2,064 Euros), and only 7% will spend more than 150 thousand Rubles.  

At the same time, Russian tourists have to save money for vacation - 56% of respondents set money aside for it. To save money for vacation 38% of them reject immediate pleasures, such as restaurants and cafes. Another 10% save on visiting sports club. 

However, interestingly, the number of tourists who declared that they will save during vacation has decreased. So, 44% are ready to save on shopping, last year their number was almost 50%. Tourists are not ready to save on excursions either. At the same time, 33% said that they would choose visa-free destinations in order not to pay for the right to enter the country.
