Russian tourist flow to Israel grew by 30% in the first half of 2017

According to statistics, totally 1.74 million foreign tourists visited Israel from January to March. The tourist department of Israel is talking about the record numbers of incoming tourist flow in the first half of the year and in June of this year. So, in the first month of summer 303 thousand tourist arrivals visited the country, which is 28% more than a year ago. Impressive growth of the tourist flow from Russia to Israel tour operators primarily connect with the successful program of subsidizing of charter flights to the airport Uvda (Eilat). Recently the Ministry of Tourism of Israel announced that this incentive program for charter flights to Eilat will continue in the next winter season.
