Russia and Oman agreed to abolish visas
Russia and Oman will have a visa-free regime. This agreement was reached following the visit of the Sultan of Oman, Heytham bin Tarek Al Said, to Russia, where he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin on April 22.
Now citizens of both countries will be able to enter, transit and exit without visas and stay up to 30 days during each visit. At the same time, the total period of stay in Russia or Oman, respectively, should not exceed 90 days during a calendar year. The agreement will enter into force 30 days after the date of the last notification of the completion of the necessary domestic procedures.
According to the results of last year, the tourist flow from Russia to Oman amounted to 18.1 thousand trips, and Omani tourists visited our country 9.5 thousand times. Oman Air flies direct flights between Moscow and Muscat.
