The most attractive price for tours to Thailand over 10 months of 2022 was in January. According to the federal network of travel agencies "1001 Tour", in January the average price was at the level of $ 1 596 for two persons. February was a little more expensive - $ 1 808 for two.
These two months, we recall, were also the most successful in terms of Russian tourist flow to Thailand for 8 months of 2022. In January, the Kingdom was visited by 23 760 tourists from the Russian Federation, and in February – 17 862 Russians.
In March, with the cancelation of direct flights, the acceptable price also disappeared, giving way to tickets for $ 3 742 for two. So, with a two-fold increase of prices, the tourist flow also decreased by half by February, amounting to 9 197 tourists.
In April and May, amid the gradual simplification of entry rules, tour operators began to arrange more tours. Tickets for the flight became more attractive. This made the final cost of the tours not so "biting".
The average cost of tours in April and May was, respectively, at the level of $ 3 096 and $ 2 525 for two. But the tourist flow from the Russian Federation neither in April nor in May did not reach the February volumes.
June, July and August, according to the network of travel agencies "1001 Tour", were approximately at the same price level - $ 2 685, $ 2 770, $ 3 036 respectively.
As for the tourist flow from the Russian Federation to Thailand for three summer months it reached 23 347 arrivals, exceeding the data of three spring months.
In August 2022, tour operators began to expand their Thai offers by selling package tours to Thailand for tourists from the regions. At the start of sales, tours were expensive. But in October, when S7 announced the launch of direct flights from Irkutsk to Bangkok from November 2, package tours for a number of regions became several times cheaper.
The average October prices for Thailand are $ 2 550 for two persons. But the final figures will be known only at the end of the month. However, in any case, it is not necessary to count on a significant reduction of the price, as well as on last-minute tours to Thailand in the autumn-winter season.
