Pobeda airline is going to fly from St. Petersburg to Spain, Italy and Germany

“Pobeda has made an application for flights to Girona, Cologne and Pisa from St. Petersburg’s Pulkovo airport. The company expects to open these directions in the summer of 2018”. - reported CEO of the carrier Andrei Kalmykov. It is noted, that if the company obtains the admittance, the low-coster will compete on the Italian direction with S7. And Pac Group operator already took blocks of seats on the boards of S7. Most likely, by tradition Pobeda will fill its own liners independently. Observers suggest that the launching of a new carrier may lead to lower prices, as has already happened in Moscow. Competition of Pobeda and S7, whose programs to Pisa began in March 2018, was marked in November by dumping: air tickets for spring dates are available for about 14 thousand Rubles (202 EUR). The tourist market reacted to the plans of the low-coster with enthusiasm. The popularity of direction is connected with the fact that from Pisa the travelers may easily reach Tuscan coast and Florence. According to experts, regardless of flights frequency, the boards of both carriers will be well filled in the summer both from Moscow and from St. Petersburg.
