New Executive Director of Tourpomosch

On Thursday, 21.05.2015, on the general meeting of the members, Alexander Osaulenko was elected the new Executive Director of Tourpomosch, the association of tour operators in outgoing tourism. Previously he worked on the position of deputy director of Tourpomosch.

"The first steps on my new position will be quite simple. I plan to fix the shortcomings mentioned today at the general meeting. First of all, related to the non-transparency of activities of the association. We want to make our operations more open to association members, partners and consumers", - he said to Interfax-Tourism immediately after the election.

Previously, on the general meeting of members of the association, the head of Russian Tourism Ministry Oleg Safonov considered activity of Turpomoschi in 2014 as inefficient and encouraged to make it more transparent. Former executive director of Tourpomosch Vyacheslav Basov, who worked for two years, received many complaints from members of the Supervisory Board. According to Oleg Safonov, there are significant differences in the number of exported tourists.
