Luxury hotels in Egypt have offered Russian tourists discounts of up to 30% on summer 2024. The Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) reports this.

Representatives of the organization said that according to the early booking campaign for the summer, guests could profitably relax in almost all popular beach hotels in Egypt. The only exceptions were budget three-star hotels.

So, Russians can book holidays at premium Rixos and Steigenberger with discounts of 25-30%. Hotelsalso offer tourists special profitable promotions. For example, according to the tour operator PAC Group, Rixos facilities provide an individual transfer as a gift.

According to the tour operators data the current sales run better than at the beginning of 2023 — demand increased by 10-12%. According to the observations of experts of the tour operator Intourist, Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada are in great demand among Russians.

Earlier, the Egyptian State Information Service reported that a record 14.9 million tourists visited the country in 2023. The previous record was set in 2010, when 14.7 million people visited Egypt.

At the same time, Egypt plans to reach the target of 30 million tourists in 2028 does, according to Egyptian Tourism Minister Gada Chalabi.
