Israel will continue to subsidize charters from Russia to Eilat
“The government of Israel will continue the program of encouraging airlines and tour operators, which are organizing charter flights to Eilat resort (Uvda airport)”, - reported in the Ministry of Tourism of the country. According to the program, the Ministry pays 45 Euros for each passenger. Participation in the program is available for companies which will perform minimum 16 flights to Eilat and back within the period since October 15, 2017 till March 29, 2018. As noted in the Ministry, the previous stage of the program achieved notable results. "During the period October 2, 2016 - April 9, 2017 150 flights were performed with an average load of 82%. In total, 26 thousand guests from Russia arrived to Uvda airport, which is 113% more than in the same period of the last year", - informed in the Ministry. The collection of applications from airlines for the participation in the program of the Ministry of Tourism of Israel runs until July 15, 2017.
