Israel Ministry of Tourism subsidizes nearly 400 flights from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Eilat.
“As part of the invitation programme of the Israely Ministry of Tourism, seven Russian tour operators will implement charter flights to Eilat” - the portal “Interfax-Tourism” was reported in the press service of the Ministry. Today, tour operators are planning to carry out up to 59 flights per month from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Uvda airport. Within the framework of the subsidizing programme, the tour operators that organize flights to Uvda airport will receive the compensatory sum in an amount of EUR 45 per passenger. The total compensation budget for each company may amount to EUR 1.2 million for the year. “ICS Travel Group” tour operator will implement flights on Airbus A321 twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays. During the period October 2 (2016) - May 11 (2017) one additional flight on Sundays will be added. From October 27 tour operator “Coral Travel” will launch flights on Airbus A321-100 / 200 of "Ural Airlines" airline company on Thursdays and Sundays. Starting from October 30 “Anex Tour” organizes flights from Moscow to the Israeli resort on Boeing 757-200 of “AZUR” airline company on Sundays. "Pegas Touristik" will launch flights to Uvda airport on October 16 on Boeing 737-800 of “NordWind” airline company on Thursdays and Sundays. Since September 4 “Base Travel” tour operator will organize air flights to Eilat on "Vim Avia" airline company’s airplanes from "Domodedovo" once a week on Sundays. "Biblio Globus" will launch flights from Moscow by "Rossia" airline company since October 2. "Matryoshka-Tour" tour operator will provide flights from the St. Petersburg’s "Pulkovo" airport by "Ural Airlines" airplanes A320 and A321 once a week on Sundays beginning October 10.
