Intourist changes its flight program to Dalaman
The tour operator Intourist has expanded the flight program, as well as the geography of cities of departure to Turkish Dalaman.
Now, after the Russian company joined Anex Tour, Intourist will fly to Dalaman on the wings of Azur Air, an affiliate company of Anex Tour. At the same time, Intourist continues to fly with its traditional partners - Smartavia and Red Wings.
“Now we are analyzing the demand for early booking tours,” Intourist Executive Director Sergey Tolchin told. “Based on these data, a decision will be made on the frequency of flights from a particular city of departure.” In 2020 the geography of the tour operator’s flights will be expanded to 10 cities - these are Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Mineralnye Vody, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Samara and Ufa. The company noted that they are thinking of adding two more cities - Voronezh and Nizhnekamsk.
Tour agencies assure - judging by the results of early booking for the next summer, Dalaman is very far behind Antalya resorts in popularity. “While hoteliers of Belek and Kemer are constraining prices, Russian tourists prefer to book a vacation on the Antalya coast,” explained Rashad Mammadov, general director of TBS Group travel agencies’ network. “They have been paying attention to Dalaman since March, when prices for popular Antalya hotels begin to rise. So, it is too early to take a decision to increase the flight program in Dalaman now — it is more rational to wait at least until the spring.”
