In January-March the tourist flow from Russia to abroad has increased for the first time since 2013

According to the Border Guard Service of the Federal Security Service of the Russia Federation, in the first quarter of 2017 the departure of Russia tourist abroad has grown by 44.6% against the same period of the last year and amounted 2 million 138.9 thousand trips. Among 25 most significant directions, the growth this year was shown by all countries except Finland (minus 39%). The composition of the TOP 10 countries - in comparison with the period January-March 2016 - changed insignificantly: Turkey replaced France and returned to the TOP 10 (plus 40.7%). At the present time this direction is on the tenth place, but it was not even a beach season. Thailand retained the leading position, the rest countries only changed their positions within a dozen. By the result of the growing dynamics, the first two places were taken by long-distance beach destinations - Dominican Republic (+185.5%) and Cuba (+133.3%). And on the third place with the growth of 103.4% was Georgia. In absolute figures, on the first line was China (87.2 thousand trips), followed by United Arab Emirates (67.2 thousand), Thailand (55.1 thousand), Turkey (50.3 thousand) and Vietnam 47.6 thousand).
