In April every tenth tourist in Israel was from Russia

The tourist flow to Israel recorded a historic maximum for the entire existence of the Jewish state. The country in April was visited by 349 thousand foreign tourists. It is significant that almost every tenth foreign tourist in Israel in April was a citizen of the Russian Federation. According to the Ministry of Tourism of Israel, in April 33 100 travelers from Russia visited Israel, which is 34% more than last year. According to the tour operators, Israel can continue two-digit dynamics on the Russian market. Today, the demand for direction is quite stable: the bookings reach November. Evaluation of the dynamics of demand for Israel from Russian tour operators coincides with the data of official statistics. According to Eugenia Erofeeva, the Head of the direction of PAX tour operator, sales of tours to Israel increased by 30% in the past winter season against the last year. "We have received a lot requests from customers for combined tours mainly with the rest on the Dead Sea. Today, the demand for tours to Israel is stable, the depth of sales reaches the end of October. I think that this year Israel will have all the chances to exceed the sales figures of the previous year", - emphasized Eugenia Erofeeva. Recall that the Ministry of Tourism of Israel and the Association of Tour Operators (ATOR) have started official collection of information about sales of Russian travel agencies. They will be used to identify the top three companies that will receive the Israel Travel Awards this year.
