Hanoi became the most accessible city for Russians who prefer city break tours

Hanoi, Warsaw and Sharm el-Sheikh became the most accessible destinations for city break tours for Russian travelers, according to the study of TripAdvisor. The annual study TripIndex Cities compared three-day stay in the period from June to August in 40 key urban tourist centers of the world. It was based on the standard cost of a trip for two people:
- Accommodation for three days in a 4-star hotel,
- Visit to the three sites,
- Lunch at any of these days,
- Costs of travel by taxi to the restaurant where the couple has dinner with the return to the hotel,
- Cost of the dinner.

The top ranking position was taken by Hanoi (Vietnam). Excluding the flight cost, three-day trip to Hanoi for two people will cost an average of 24.8 thousand rubles (~ $460). The next five most accessible destinations also included Warsaw (25 thousand rubles, ~ $466), Sharm el-Sheikh (27.7 thousand rubles, ~ $517), Bangkok (27.8 thousand rubles, ~ $519), and Mumbay (28, 6 thousand rubles, ~ $530). Among countries of Southeast Asiat, Hanoi, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Manila are in top ten destinations, who offer the most attractive prices for city break. However, taking into account the cost of the flight, European cities will be also attractive for travelers from Russia. The list of European cities with the most affordable prices, bedised Warsaw, inlcudes also Lisbon and Berlin.

Moscow ranked on the list of TripIndex Cities 2015 12th place. Three days in the Russian capital will cost about 33.3 thousand rubles (~ $620), which is 30% more expensive than holidays in Warsaw. The prices for dinner for two and a taxi in Moscow and Warsaw are amost the same. However, prices for hotel accommodation in Moscow are on the level of Dubai, an average of 6.8 thousand rubles (~ $130) per night for a double room.

Top of the most expensive destinations for city break in the ranking of TripIndex Cities in 2015 headed the Mexican resort of Cancun. Three-day trip for two people (excluded flight) it will cost 68.4 thousand rubles (~ $1277). The next five most expensive city break destinations are Zurich (65.9 thousand rubles, ~ $1230), New York (64.7 thousand rubles, ~ $1207), London (63.6 thousand rubles, ~ $1187), and Punta Cana (61.2 thousand rubles, ~ $1142).
