The most popular destinations for May holidays among Russian travelers will be Turkey and Egypt, as the survey among tour operators conducted of Interfax-Tourism stated. Some of the companies also talk about decrease in numbers of tourists compared to last year.

"The drop in tourist flow during the May holidays compared with last year is about 25%", as PR department of tour operator Coral Travel said. The company said that the most popular destinations of May were Turkey and Egypt. The biggest demand in Turkey for these dates is fir hotels with good infrastructure.

"The main feature of this season is that sales have shifted literally at the last moment. Two weeks before May holidays the sales started to be vey intensive, now tourists buy almost everything. This is due to the unstable situation and changing currency exchange rate, so people do not know what might happen tomorrow, and they postpone expensive purchases until the last moment. All our destinations are sold at the same level, both Europe and Turkey. Main bestsellers are United Arab Emirates, Spain and Egypt "- the president of the group of companies Natalie Tours Vladimir Vorobiev said.
