Flights to Vienna are opened for Russians
S7 Airlines announced the start of flights from Moscow to Vienna. The first flights are planned from December 27. According to the carrier, the flights will be operated once a week on Sundays.
At the same time, Russian citizens can purchase air tickets for flights from Europe to Moscow, as well as foreign citizens who have the right to enter Russia, but they need to have a negative PCR test.
However, “ordinary” tourists will not be allowed to enter Austria. Entry is allowed only to the citizens of the state, EU countries and the countries of the Schengen Agreement, as well as those who have a residence permit.
You can visit Austria from Russia only with a working trip, and for medical and education purposes – all this will require the appropriate documents.
In Austria itself, from December 19 to January 10, there will be a rule of a mandatory 10-day self-isolation for visitors from countries in which the infection rate for 14 days is more than 100 people per 100 thousand inhabitants. It will be possible to terminate quarantine after five days of isolation if there is a negative test for coronavirus.
